Year’s end

Posted on: December 31, 2015

Again I say it is hard to believe that another year has flown by.  Got a great night’s sleep after I bedded down on the couch and turned on Inspector Morse.  Netflix no longer streams Hunt for Red October.  Inspector Morse worked.

Worked out, picked up a turkey carcass and ham bone both destined for yummy soup!

Faced a last minute trip to grocery store to pick up black-eyed peas, sauerkraut and hot dogs.  Seems lots of people have B-E P for New years for there were no dried or frozen ones.  One of the clerks said the frozen ones had gone this morning.  I did find and helped others to find the last of the canned B-EP with jalapeno.  Might be good.

The turkey carcass was so big that I put half of it in the crockpot and the other is roasting in the oven and does it smell good.

Watching football and catching up on email/facebook.

Happy New Year!!
