On the downhill slide

Posted on: July 28, 2011

It is Wednesday and it is 33C at 8 pm! Boy has it been hot. Glad I thouhgt of that, cause I had left the water on around the hydrangeas. Actually the more they grow the better the deer like them!

Saw a roadrunner scurrying across the lawn today, but couldn’t get a picture. Heard a pileated woodpecker in the tree by the porch. I was sitting there and hoped it would hop down. Finally saw a live armadillo last night on 71 while driving home. So it’s been a pretty good wildlife opportunity.

Also found out that Fayetteville holds the Cheese Dip Classic and then the World Cheese Dip event is in Little Rock. Both are fledgling events – 2 years old.

Such imagination people have.
